Delaware City/County Bicentennial 2008 Beard Growing Contest

Contestants will be required to obtain a Beard Permit to grow a beard. Contestants must register beardless and be a resident of Delaware County, Ohio. Once permit is completed participants are eligible to participate in the beard growing contest. There are various categories and participants are encouraged to dress similar to 1808 attire. See the 1958 Winner!
Permit dates – February 10, 2008 through June 30, 2008
Complete a permit and forward permit and beardless photo to Beard Growing Contest PO box 842, Delaware, Ohio 43015 or email both to Beard-Contest@delawareco200.com

Permits also available at the following area businesses:
	1) Cord Camera located at 18 Troy Rd, Delaware 2) Midway Market, located US Rt 36 W, Ostrander 3) Hickory House Powell 4) YMCA Powell
Beard “judging day” on July 5^th will be at 10:30 a.m.
Community Stage on Sandusky St. between William St. and Spring St., in Delaware, Ohio
Judging panel will be made of professionals from Delaware County
